Assistant Professional
The Cooke Municipal Golf Course, established in 1909, is an 18 hole public facility, steeped with tradition and history. Located in the heart of Prince Albert, Cooke Municipal has hosted 5 National Championships throughout it's history, the most recent being the 2009 Canadian Men's Mid Amateur Championship. The Cooke Municipal Golf Course is City owned and operated with approximately 400 annual pass holders. Prince Albert has a population of approximately 36,000 and is seeing unprecedented growth with recent announcements of a $300 million dollar regional hospital expansion, $60 million dollar entertainment district with new hockey arenas and aquatic centre, OSB production plant, diamond exploration, and a University of Saskatchewan off site campus.

- Job Summary
- The Assistant Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in all facets of the golf operation and maintaining exceptional customer service levels to our patrons. You will have the opportunity to teach, coach, compete, grow and develop as a Professional in this year-round position.
- Responsibilities
-
- Active involvement in the day to day operations of the Golf Shop
- Tee time reservations, point of sales (Tee-On)
- Receiving, merchandising, inventory controls
- Assist with scheduling, hiring , managing of Outside Golf Services Team
- Knowledge of the Rules of Golf and WHS
- Actively promote all assets of the golf operation, indoor simulators, driving range, teaching, club fitting equipment, leagues, events, and tournaments
- Assist with all junior events, clinics, and programming
- Perform other duties as required
- Qualifications

- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada
- Must be motivated and work well in a Team environment
- Excellence in public relations and communication
- Knowledge of Tee-On POS, Gallus Golf, Golf IN simulators an asset
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Compensation

- $3000 - $3500 per month
- 90% of lesson revenue
