- Job Summary
- This is an active role supporting the day-to-day operations at The Avalon Club, including Pro Shop and outside operations, customer service, instruction, retail sales, leagues, tournaments and events. Working closely with management and our seasonal team, you’ll help deliver an exceptional experience for our members and guests while maintaining high operational standards. The people who succeed at The Avalon Club are detail-focused, conscientious and self-motivated. They take initiative, lead by example and take pride in delivering a high level of service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, PGA of Canada membership, and a minimum of two years of golf industry experience.
- Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional, personalized service to members and guests throughout their golf experience.
- Support the daily operation of the Pro Shop, including opening/closing procedures, merchandising, retail sales and inventory management.
- Assist with the planning and execution of member events, tournaments, leagues and special golf activities.
- Coordinate tee sheets, player arrivals, golf groups and daily golf operations to ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail across all areas of the golf operation.
- Build strong relationships with members by anticipating needs and creating a welcoming, personalized experience.
- Support the training, development and direction of seasonal golf operations staff.
- Work closely with management and other departments to ensure consistency in service and communication.
- Take ownership of tasks and follow through from start to finish, identifying opportunities to improve the member experience.
- Maintain a professional presence and lead by example in all interactions with members, guests and team members.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and bring energy, enthusiasm and a passion for the golf experience each day.
- Qualifications

- PGA Canada Member
- Experience with Jonas, Golf Genius, Trackman, and Pacesetter Technology considered an asset
- An outgoing personality and genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to going above and beyond.
- Detail-oriented mindset with an eye for the small touches that elevate the experience.
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to grow alongside the club.
- Compensation
- 40-hour work week Base Salary: $1,100-$1,200 per week.
