This position is tailored for individuals working towards PGA of Canada accreditation or Individuals possessing accreditation with a genuine enthusiasm for the game of golf and its diverse offerings.
As the Assistant Golf Professional, you will report directly to the Head Professional and play a vital role in efficiently operating the Golf Shop.
- Responsibilities
-
Your responsibilities will include:
● Sales of Golf Equipment, Apparel, and Accessories, with professional club fitting on Trackman.
● Will work in conjunction with Head Teaching Professional to develop and execute private and group teaching programs for juniors and adults, ensuring high-quality instruction.
● Contribution to the buying and merchandising plan for the golf shop operation, aligning with budgets and customer expectations.
● Club repair and inventory management.
● Ensuring positive customer relations at all times.
● Hiring, training, and providing leadership to back-shop staff to meet customer service expectations.
- Qualifications
-
● Class A member of the CPGA or working towards accreditation.
● Strong communication and public relations skills.
● Motivated individual with leadership experience in staff management.
● Some experience or a keen interest in developing instructional programs for juniors and adults.
● Proficiency in pro shop inventory management and a readiness to acquire sales techniques through learning.
- Compensation

● Base Salary: $40,000-50,000 per year.
● Potential Teaching Revenue: $5,000 to $20,000+ annually
