Assistant Golf Professional: Copper Creek Golf Club

Copper Creek Golf Club is one of Ontario’s Premier Semi-Private golf facilities, situated 20 kms North of the Greater Toronto Area. With over 250 members, public play and a number of corporate events, our strong service standards and commitment to excellence we are committed to make every guest’s experience exceptional.

We are currently hiring an individual to join our Golf Operations team in the Assistant Professional role for the 2026 season. With Copper Creek continuing to be one of the top ranked public/semi-private golf courses in Ontario and in Canada. It is our goal every day to exceed customer expectations.

Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who is service driven, outgoing with a strong desire to progress and excel within the industry. The ideal candidate should possess a willingness to learn and a team-oriented mentality.
Responsibilities
  • The Assistant Golf Professional will report to our Director of Golf and our Head Golf Professional
  • Oversee daily Golf Operations, guiding and supervising staff to ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Actively manage the tee sheet throughout daily operations, with a strong focus on pace of play, group organization, and overall guest experience.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating the highest level of professionalism, setting the standard for the team of golf professionals and supporting golf services staff.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and support merchandise sales initiatives.
  • Assist with Pro Shop Merchandising, Retail Sales and Inventory
  • Develop Strong Relationships with our Corporate Partners, Members and Public Golfers
  • Assist the Tournament Coordinator in delivering a first-class golf experience for all tournaments and event guests
  • Maintain excellent customer service on a daily basis and promote that service within all departments of the club
Qualifications
  • CPGA Member in good standing or Candidate for CPGA Membership
  • Current PGM student or alumni
  • Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Team-oriented professional eager to be involved in all aspects of Golf Operations
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continually improving the customer experience
  • Experience with JONAS or other POS systems and Golf Genius considered an asset
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment while also working independently
  • Available to work a 5-day work week
Compensation
$1000/Week
