We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Professional to join our staff for the 2023 golf season. South Muskoka C&GC offers a fantastic opportunity for a new and/or upcoming professional to gain experience across all aspects of a bustling golf operation. - Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Professional and General Manager/Director of Golf, the Assistant Professional will primarily be responsible for:
● Supervising the daily operation of the Pro Shop, Back Shop, and on-course services
● Providing exceptional customer service and leadership to members, staff and guests
● Inventory control, merchandising and maximizing Pro Shop revenue through effective selling techniques
● Assisting with the planning and execution of club and corporate events
● Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive junior program
● General teaching and instruction, including delivery of camps and clinics
- Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications Include:
● Apprentice or Class “A” PGA of Canada professional in good standing
● Prior teaching/coaching experience with a focus on juniors considered an asset
● Experience with Golf Genius and Tee-On an asset (bonus points if you’re an Excel wiz)
● Post-Secondary Education
- Compensation
- $900-$1,100 weekly salary, commensurate with experience.

• 100% of lesson revenue (individual and group/clinic/camp) – typical season earnings are between $5,000 to $10,000).
