Saugeen Golf Club is one of the premier semi-private facilities in the Saugeen Shores region of Ontario.
We are currently accepting applications for a Assistant Golf Professional for the 2023 season. Saugeen Golf Club is a 27 hole, par 36’s (Legacy, Sunset, Sunrise) golf course designed in 1925 by Stanley Thompson, and is a Club that is extremely busy throughout the peak season consisting of locals and cottagers.
A large member base as a multi-generation golf club. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn all facets of the golf industry through strong leadership.

- Job Summary
- This job is for an energetic, hard working Golf Professional that will be heavily involved with the day to day operations, teaching private lessons, teaching junior camps and the help of organizing all events/leagues.
- Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to members and guests
• Private and group instruction
• Junior Clinic instruction
• Club repair
• Playing golf with membership
• Day to day pro shop operations including tee time reservations, merchandising transactions, point of sale
• Organization of member/corporate events
• Organization of member leagues
- Qualifications

• Apprentice PGA of Canada Member in good standing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• High level of commitment
• Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn all facets of the golf industry
• Basic club repair skills
• Available to work weekends and holidays
