Stratford CC has encountered a growth in golf over the last three (3) seasons and, along with our dependable annual wedding/food and beverage business, we continue to be a strong family-based facility.

Assistant/Associate Golf Professional is responsible for setting the standards of the day-to-day operations in the golf shop, guest services, instruction, and club fitting. This includes meeting or exceeding employee satisfaction, guest satisfaction, sales, and financial performance of retail and golf operation.
In this position we expect the individual to lead by example with a team first mentally. We provide a safe and positive work environment. The selected candidate has potential for vertical growth within the golf department.
- Responsibilities

Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Day to day operations of the club, customer check in, ensuring elevated levels of service
- Monitoring outside services staff
- Merchandising and Sales promotion
- Inventory control and management
- Assisting in running Men’s & Ladies’ weekly leagues
- Ensure all staff are always adhering to club policy and procedures
- Report to the Club Director/Head Professional
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Maintain a well-respected and professional image within the club, industry, and the community
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Tee-On Software and Smart Golf League software
- Playing golf with members on a weekly basis
- Teaching lessons, participating in junior golf camps
- Club Fitting using Trackman technology
- Initiating and investigating corporate sales leads
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- Excellent communication skills both written and orally
- Outgoing and energetic personality and willingness to grow as a professional
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and multi-task
- Strong playing/teaching ability is considered an asset
- Compensation

$1,100 weekly, based on experience / 75% Lesson revenue. Pay occurs every two weeks.
