Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club is looking for an Assistant/Associate Golf Professional for the 2023 golf season and beyond.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Golf Professional assuming a leadership role within the golf operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service for all members and guests on a daily basis and possess exceptional communication skills & attention to detail and will be able to motivate other staff to complete tasks. The candidate will have a key role as a part of the management team and will responsible for and have the following skills.
- Responsibilities
-
• Work with all team members to ensure a high level of customer service is provided each shift.
• Help with Proshop sales merchandising
• Help with inventory control, custom orders, receiving, identifying trends in sales.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for all members, guest and employees of the club
• Organizing member leagues, set up events doing scoring payouts etc.
• Being part of handicap and rules committees during events throughout the year
• Managing the 1st tee and monitoring pace of play throughout the day
• Providing club fittings
• Event set up helping organize member and public tournaments
- Qualifications
-
• PGA of Canada member in good standing
• Strong knowledge of the rules of golf and Golf Canada handicap system
• Knowledge of Club Prophet POS will be considered an asset
• Experience with the Golf Genius Software will be considered an asset
• Foresight Launch monitor and FSX software knowledge also an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to supervise and lead by example and motivate other employees
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail is a key asset
• Club Fitting skills and knowledge of top equipment brands
- Compensation
-
• $3200-$3500 per month.
Salary will depend on experience. It’s guaranteed 9 months with possibility of hourly work in the winter
• 100% of lesson revenue, lesson can also be year round
