- Job Summary
- Directly reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Apprentice/Assistant/Associate Golf Professional will play an integral role in the daily golf operations at The Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Golf Operations team, with responsibilities including—but not limited to—overseeing daily operations, managing tee times, executing member events and leagues, assisting with Golf Shop merchandising, and supporting teaching programs and golf equipment fittings. All duties will be carried out with a consistent focus on delivering an outstanding member experience each day.
- Responsibilities

- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members.
- Assist in the execution of all club events, member leagues, and corporate outings.
- Assist with the Junior Golf Program.
- Assist with club fitting and club repair services.
- Provide private instruction and conduct group clinics.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and management of Golf Operations staff.
- Support the merchandising and presentation of apparel, equipment, and related products.
- Play a reasonable amount of golf with members of all skill levels to support engagement and relationships.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing, or a candidate actively pursuing entry into the PGA of Canada (PGM program student).
- Demonstrated excellence in member services, sales, and organizational skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong desire to exceed member and guest expectations.
- Positive, professional attitude and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge and experience in club fitting and golf equipment.
- Familiarity with JONAS Point of Sale, Club Unity, TrackMan, and Golf Genius considered an asset.
- Compensation

- Weekly salary ranging from $900 to $1,050, commensurate with experience.
- 100% of lesson revenue from member lessons is retained by the instructor.
