The Canadian Golf and Country club is a 27-hole course located 15 minutes west of Stittsville off of Highway 7. Please note that no public transportation comes out to our location, personal vehicle or reliable transportation is required.

Canadian Golf & Country Club is seeking an Apprentice/Assistant/Associate Golf Professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who works well as a team and an individual and who has excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.

Job Summary
The Assistant or Apprentice Golf Professional supports the Golf Professionals in daily golf operations, instruction, and member services at the Canadian Golf & Country Club. This role helps with daily operations in the pro shop, and provides golf instruction to members and guests. A great position for someone looking for experience in various PGA of Canada Specializations.
Responsibilities

Golf Operations & Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
  • Enforce course policies, etiquette, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in managing driving range operations.

Instruction & Player Development

  • Conduct private and group lessons for players of all skill levels.
  • Help organize junior programs, clinics, and member golf development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on the latest golf instruction techniques and technology.

Pro Shop & Merchandising

  • Assist in pro shop operations, including sales, inventory, and merchandising.
  • Promote and sell golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
  • Process transactions and provide product recommendations to members and guests.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing or a candidate actively pursuing entry into the PGA of Canada (PGM program student).
  • Experience with Lightspeed Golf Management software and POS systems is an asset.
  • Experience with Trackman is an asset
  • Club Fitting courses and experience is an asset
Compensation
$18-40/Hour
