The Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in delivering exceptional service and supporting all aspects of daily golf operations at the Resort. The successful candidate will assist with member and corporate events, supervise the outside services team, and contribute to the Resort’s extensive teaching programs. Additional responsibilities include supporting Golf Shop operations—such as merchandising, inventory management, tee sheet coordination, and sales processing—with opportunities to take lead roles in leagues, events, junior camps, or inventory oversight based on experience.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, self-motivated professionals with strong organizational and customer service skills. PGA of Canada membership (or progress toward it), post-secondary education or PGM training, and proficiency with common golf and business software systems are considered strong assets.
- Responsibilities

- Providing best in class service to all members and guests
- Coordinate, support, and assist with daily golf operations, including all member and corporate events
- Supervise the outside golf services team daily, opportunity to assist in scheduling
- Be a key contributor and facilitator of our extensive teaching offerings at the Resort
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of Golf Shop operations: merchandising, inventory controls, tee time management and accurate sales processing.
- Opportunity to lead the operations of a weekly league, corporate events, kids’ camps, or inventory management, based on experience and competencies.
- Qualifications

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who takes initiative and responsibility
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A PGA of Canada member in good standing, or working towards membership
- Post-secondary education or Professional Golf Management designation, or working towards
- Computer literate Re: ERP systems, Word, Excel, Lightspeed, and Golf Genius
- Proven organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Teaching experience considered an asset
- Compensation

- Both hourly and weekly salary available. Ranging from $19-25 / hour, commensurate with experience
- Commission compensation including; 80% of lesson, camp, clinic revenue
