Assistant Professional

Cherry Hill Club is seeking an Assistant Professional as we enter our centennial year. Since 1922 Cherry Hill has been a prominent Club not only in the Canadian private Club circle but the American private Club circle as well. The Club’s proximity to the American border is unique among private Clubs in Ontario. The Club takes pride in the strength of the golf course, a Walter J. Travis design, hosting many local, provincial, and national events, including the 1972 Canadian Open and the 2016 Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada Niagara Championship.

Job Summary

A successful candidate will deliver outstanding Member services while balancing an engaging personality with good work habits. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential when assisting with daily golf operations at the Club. Proven excellence in golf services, Jonas POS, Golf Genius, and FlightScope is considered an asset.

Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing and/or working towards a PGM diploma
  • Private Club experience is not required but would be beneficial to any potential candidate. This would be an excellent opportunity for those seeking experience in a Private Club atmosphere. Growth in your skill set and career will be encouraged.
Compensation
  • The expected employment package will include a competitive salary range based on experience.
  • 100% of lesson revenue, including junior golf clinic/camp revenue.

  • PGA of Canada dues reimbursed at end of season.
