- The ideal candidate will be responsible to work within a team framework and communicate with co-workers and the Director of Golf on a daily basis. The successful candidate is committed to providing the highest level of customer service for all members and guests on a consistent basis. Applicants must be service-oriented, possess exceptional communication skills & attention to detail, energy, and self-confidence, and display a genuine caring attitude towards people.
- Responsibilities
-
- Create an exceptional golf experience through enlightened hospitality, and dedicated teamwork with all Club employees, while displaying a genuine caring attitude for Point Grey Members and Guests.
- Work with fellow Professional Staff to ensure an efficient and friendly customer service level throughout the day-to-day Golf Shop operations.
- Committed to the accomplishment of Point Grey’s operational goals and programs.
- Possess a strong understanding of and promote the Club’s wide range of activities and services.
- Assist in managing inventory, receive product and quarterback the special-order programming for a robust retail operation.
- Assist Director of Golf and Senior Professional Staff with running all major club tournaments.
- Provide continuous improvement initiatives and training and coaching as needed to all support staff.
- Pursue continuing education opportunities to ensure professional growth.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Qualifications
-
- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- Prior experience with Jonas Club Management is an asset
- Golf Genius experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Customer-service oriented
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong attention to detail
- Open to feedback and willingness to improve

- $3000/month salary + teaching revenues
