Glen Eagle Golf Club is a premier 27-hole public golf course and event facility located approximately 30 minutes northwest of Toronto in Caledon, Ontario. Established in 1962, Glen Eagle is a high-volume, community-driven golf operation featuring a full practice facility,
dynamic league programming, junior camps, tournaments, and a busy event calendar.
Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking an energetic, dedicated, and engaging individual to join our leadership team as an Assistant Golf Professional.
This is a senior seasonal leadership position within Golf Operations, designed for a PGA of Canada Professional who wants to take meaningful ownership of daily operations, staff development, and instructional programming within a forward-thinking golf environment.

The Assistant Golf Professional plays an integral role in the day-to-day execution of golf operations and in delivering a consistently exceptional golfer experience. This role requires strong leadership presence, operational discipline, instructional capability, and a commitment to elevating service standards across all golfer touchpoints.
Primary areas of responsibility include:
- Oversight of daily pro shop and outside golf operations
- Supervision and mentorship of Golf Operations staff
- Participation in leadership of Junior Golf Programming and Camps
- Delivery and growth of instructional programming
- Support and execution of Glen Eagle Golf Community events, tournaments, and public golf play
- Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the pro shop and outside golf services
- Oversee and direct Outside Golf Services staff daily
- Train, mentor, and develop Apprentice Professionals and Golf Services staff
- Support tee sheet strategy, pace-of-play management, and overall golfer flow
- Ensure club service goals and operational standards are consistently met
- Assist in planning and execution of corporate tournaments, leagues, and special events
- Provide and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Glen Eagle in a professional manner
- The Assistant Professional will maintain a visible and active presence within the golf operation and serve as a leadership example for the team.
Teaching & Player Development
- Participate in leading, organizing, and executing Glen Eagle’s Junior Golf Program
- Deliver private, semi-private, and group instruction
- Develop clinics aligned with community leagues and programming
- Build and manage a personal lesson portfolio
- Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of our practice facility
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Professional in good standing (Class “A” preferred)
- 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience within golf operations
- Strong passion for player development and junior golf
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, outgoing personality with strong leadership presence
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced public golf environment
- Retail sales and merchandising experience considered an asset
- Proficiency with golf software systems (Tee-On, Tagmarshal) considered an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office platforms
