Transforming Lives is seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Golf Coach for the 2026 Spring/Summer/Fall season. This role supports the delivery of our Transforming Lives through Golf programming and First Tee initiatives hosted at Broadmoor Public Golf Course. While programs run on‑site at Broadmoor, employment, training, and supervision for this position are provided directly through Transforming Lives Through Golf.
Our coaching approach blends Long‑Term Player Development (LTPD) principles with the professional playing and coaching expertise of Harmeet Kahlon, Asian Tour winner and PGA of Canada Professional.

Reporting to Harmeet Kahlon, Director of Golf & Head Professional for Transforming Lives, the Assistant Coach will contribute to junior development, lesson programming, and overall growth‑of‑the‑game efforts throughout the season.
This position is ideal for a PGA of Canada Apprentice Member , or an aspiring coach with relevant certification, strong playing ability, and experience coaching juniors.

- Responsibilities

Instruction & Coaching
- Deliver individual and group instruction for junior and adult golfers
- Support the delivery of Initiation (ages 6–18) and Development programs
- Assist with competitive junior programming where appropriate
- Coach full swing mechanics, short‑game skills, and basic course management
- Lead engaging practice stations, skill challenges, and on‑course activities
Program Delivery
- Assist with lesson planning and curriculum execution
- Contribute to the delivery of junior camps, clinics, and seasonal programs
- Track player development and provide feedback to students and parents
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Professional Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with parents, participants, and staff
- Support program logistics including scheduling, equipment setup, and operational tasks
- Represent Transforming Lives Through Golf and the PGA of Canada with professionalism
- Contribute to junior‑golf development and community‑based initiatives
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Member preferred.
- Equivalent experience, coaching certification, and strong playing ability will be considered
- Experience coaching juniors in camp, academy, or lesson settings
- Strong understanding of golf fundamentals, etiquette, and rules
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- CPR & First Aid certification (asset)
- Post‑secondary education in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sport Intervention, or related field (asset)
- Compensation

- Lesson rates established by Broadmoor Public Golf Club available on website (range of $2,000-4,000/month)
- Commission‑based lesson structure (percentage of lesson revenue) or other mutually agreed terms
