Assistant Coach
Golf Performance Canada at Total Golf is seeking the services of an Assistant Coach for the 2022 season.
Golf Performance Canada offers year-round golf coaching. Teaching experience is not necessary, but you must love the game and be passionate about helping others improve.
Our mission is to help students achieve their goals in golf whether they are beginners or accomplished players. We pride ourselves on providing a fun and enjoyable environment for our staff and clients.
Our method is unique in several ways. Other than on-course playing lessons, we operate exclusively indoors at Total Golf. This allows us to operate 12 months per year and we are not subject to weather cancellations. We use data and technology to benchmark student's improvement in our programs. As a result, our students are learning to play the game, not just swing the club. We place great emphasis on what and how to practice (including extensive short game work) and hold our students accountable for their own improvement. We have a proven method of improvement with hundreds of clients which allows us to guarantee results.
About our facility - Total Golf
Total Golf is an 11,000 square-foot indoor golf facility located near the intersection of Glenmore Trail and Blackfoot Trail SE. Our facility houses 5 simulator bays featuring Foresight Sports launch monitors, four putting greens including a PuttView augmented reality system, and a 60-foot finesse range for pitching, chipping, and lag putting. Our customers come here to play, learn, and practice.

- Organize/schedule practice times
- Create player improvement contracts
- Create Practice Plans from database and create new content in database
- Communicate and motivate clients
- Train and learn the GPC fundamentals to improvement
- Learn online scheduling system
- Open and close facility
- Attract new clients
- Promote and represent Golf Performance Canada and Total Golf
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- Great communication and public relations
- Enthusiastic about helping others learn
- Teaching experience an asset but not necessary
- Understanding of launch monitor data
- Knowledge and passion for the game of golf
- Strong sales background preferred
- Self-motivated
