Job Summary
The Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club is currently seeking a PGA of Canada Apprentice/Associate/Assistant Golf Professional for the 2023 season.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the professional team. He/she will report directly to the Head Golf Professional and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing first class service to members and guests

• Scheduling Golf Shop and Member Services staff

• Supervising the Member Services staff

• Placing special orders and recording product upon its arrival

• Merchandising of apparel, equipment and other golf related products

• Involvement with tournament operations

• Club fitting and club repair

• Playing a reasonable amount of golf with members of all abilities


• PGA of Canada member in good standing

• Post-secondary degree or college diploma with a golf management discipline (or working towards)

• Proven excellence in member services, sales and organizational skills

• Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Club fitting and equipment knowledge

• Knowledge of JONAS Point of sales system, GGGolf and Golf Genuis will be considered an asset


• Weekly salary based on experience and role

• 100% of Lesson Revenue from Members lesson

• PGA of Canada dues – Payable at end of season and subject to positive performance review
