All members and green fee players are welcome to use our practice facilities while at Pitt Meadows Golf Club. We offer a grass tee driving range as well as putting and chipping greens to help you warm up and improve your game.

Job Summary

Pitt Meadows Golf Club is seeking an Apprentice/Assistant Golf Professional for the 2026 season. The club is member-owned, semi-private, home to more than 600 active members, and located 40 minutes east of downtown Vancouver.

Following a full clubhouse reconstruction and ongoing upgrades to the golf course and practice facility, we are looking for a motivated, career-driven individual to join our professional team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance within golf operations at a growing and improving facility. Candidates must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and understand the expectations of working at a semi-private club.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:

  •  Assist with club events and tournaments
  •  Assist with merchandising and inventory control processes
  •  Operate the first tee efficiently and provide professional customer service to members and guests
  •  Instruct golf lessons to variety of clientele and lead junior clinics/camps
  •  Supervise, train and assist outside service staff to ensure proficient customer service
  •  Encouraged to play with membership to develop relationships
Qualifications

The following attributes will be an asset:

  •  PGA of Canada member in good standing
  •  Experience in a semi-private club environment
  •  Knowledge of industry trends in retail and inventory management
  •  Experience instructing various levels of golfers, private and group coaching
  •  Experience assisting with an active junior golf program
  •  Experience executing club events and tournaments
  •  Computer competency, MS Office, Golf Genius, POS system knowledge
  •  Flexible regarding work schedule
Compensation
Wage range $21-$24 based on experience
