- Job Summary
- Windermere Valley Golf Course is seeking a motivated, service-driven Assistant / Apprentice Golf Professional to join our golf operations team for the 2026 season. The successful candidate will play a key role in daily golf shop operations, junior programs, club fitting, leagues, tournaments, and guest services while contributing positively to our team-oriented culture.
- Responsibilities

- Opening and closing the golf shop, including daily cash-out and reconciliation
- Delivering golf instruction with a focus on junior golf programs
- Retail sales, merchandising, and inventory control in a fully stocked pro shop
- Tee sheet and guest management using Lightspeed, Chronogolf, and Golf Genius
- Tournament and league preparation, set-up, and day-of execution
- Oversight of daily guest services operations
- Supporting and assisting with large men’s and ladies’ leagues
- Full-scale club fitting and repair services
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Member or Apprentice in good standing
- Strong computer skills; experience with Lightspeed, Chronogolf, and Golf Genius considered an asset
- Sound knowledge of modern teaching techniques and instructional programs
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, community-focused attitude

- Salary: $3,600 – $3,900 per month, depending on experience
- 100% of lesson revenue retained by the professional (significant earning potential)
