Shawneeki Golf Club is a hidden gem located just outside of Newmarket, Ontario. The club is fully public and has several golfers who play regularly on a weekly basis. The course is a good test for all players with certain demanding tee shots, fast greens and some beautiful views. Shawneeki is seeking an entry level professional looking to advance their career in the golf industry.

- Shawneeki is looking for an Apprentice Professional who is driven to work with the golf team delivering Pro Shop service and offering golf lessons if desired.
- Responsibilities
-
- Providing golfer services at the highest level
- Maintaining a positive relationship with repeat regular customers
- Work in the Pro Shop handling bookings, tee sheets, merchandise sales and all other aspects of Pro Shop activity
- Opening and closing procedures
- Provide direction to the Back Shop
- Private/group golf lessons if desired
- Management of GolfNowPro and office computer programs
- Participate in management of tournaments and leagues
- Qualifications

- Able to work independently and on a team
- Has golf acumen and plays
- Positive, service oriented and able to effectively speak with public customers
- Working towards becoming a PGA of Canada member (PGM Student)
- Compensation
- Depending on qualifications hourly pay of $19-$21 for 34-40 hours per week for the season.
