Apprentice Golf Professional: Willow Park Golf & Country Club

Job Summary
The chosen candidate will play a key role in the daily operations of the golf facility, including, but not limited to, golf shop management, tournament coordination, member/guest services and instruction. This position is ideal for an Apprentice seeking to grow in a private club environment with a strong emphasis on member service, attention to detail, and long-term career development.
Responsibilities
  • Provide world class service to members and guests, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Oversee and assist with daily golf operations, including tee time management, pace of play monitoring, and merchandise sales.
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of all club tournaments and events
  • Help manage golf shop operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and special orders.
  • Enforce club policies and etiquette standards on the course and in the clubhouse.
  • Teach individual and group golf lessons to players of all ages and skill levels, with an emphasis on the Junior program.
  • Work closely with the Head Professional and other staff to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada member in good standing. Both Apprentices and Class A members will be considered
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Some knowledge with the Golf Genius tournament software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for growing the game and mentoring others.
Compensation
$3500-4500 per month
