Since the mid-1920s, the club has been situated at its current location in the heart of Lethbridge, offering the opportunity to enjoy Southern Alberta’s stunning views and peaceful surroundings.
As the sole private golf club in Southern Alberta, the Lethbridge Country Club has thrived, expanding to an 18-hole championship course in 1983 and solidifying a healthy membership over the years. The membership primarily comprises individuals from the Lethbridge business community, young professionals, and retired community members, including public offerings for anyone under 30, including intermediate and junior programs.

- The Lethbridge Country Club is seeking an Apprentice Golf Professional. Established in 1913, the Lethbridge Country Club is Southern Alberta’s only 18-hole private facility. Our Pro Shop is looking for an individual to join our team who is highly motivated, personable, energetic, and looking to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the golf industry.
- Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence at all times.
- Support daily Pro Shop operations, ensuring adherence to club policies and procedures.
- Perform club fitting and club repair services to a high standard.
- Provide private, group, and junior golf instruction, contributing to player development programs.
- Prepare, organize, and execute club events and tournaments using Golf Genius.
- Assist with the coordination and management of member activities and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with members, guests, and colleagues to support smooth daily operations.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and accountability while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute positively to the overall golf operation and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth within the golf industry.
- Qualifications

- Providing exceptional customer service.
- To always conduct yourself in a professional, businesslike manner.
- A professional who recognizes the importance of pro shop/ club policies and procedures.
- Club fitting and club repair experience.
- Ability to teach private, group and junior lessons.
- Preparing and running Club Events utilizing Golf Genius.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for the golf business as a whole and the willingness to grow as a Golf Professional.
- Compensation
- $3,600 to $4,000 per month based on experience
