Joined the CPGA in 1974 as a Tournament Professional, won 12 events on Canadian Tour including the CPGA and the Senior CPGA. Joined the PGA Tour 1978 and was exempt till 1998 winning 2 times (Quad Cities Open 1981 and Atlanta Georgia /Pacific Golf Classic). Played the PGA Tour Champions from 2002-2010 winning the Royal Caribbean Golf Classic in 2003. Other wins include the 1983 Individual at the World Cup, won team title with Dan Halldorson at 1985 World Cup, on the winning 1994 Dunhill Cup with Ray Stewart and Rick Gibson. Represented Canada 13 times at the World Cup and 9 times at the Dunhill Cup. Also represented Canada at World Amateur in 1972. Won Oklahoma St. Amateur in 1973, and was an All-American in 1973 .
