Currently the General Manager of Victoria Golf Club, Scott's career has gone full circle as he started working for the club as a Junior.
Turning Pro in 1992 and Class A in 1997, Scott has worked at Victoria GC, Gallagher's Canyon, Olympic View, Arbutus Ridge and the Raven at Lora Bay.
In these years he has started 3 seperate Golf Academies inclding the GBC Academy used by GolfBC.
In addition to his GM Duties, he also hosts an annual Las Vegas Pro Am every November.
Scott has been heavily involved with the golf industry. He has served on the PGA of BC Board , Canadian Society of Club Managers Board (currently the Island Branch President), NGCOA advisory committee, Camosun College advisory committee, and BC representative on the PGA of Canada Board.
In his 30+ years in the industry, he and his clubs have won regional, provincial and national awards. These include Merchandiser of the Year - PGA of Canada, Club of the Year - CSCM, Executive Professional of the Year - PGA of BC, Facility of the Year - PGA of BC, Fore seasons Award - NGCOA /PGA of BC.
Scott joined the PGA of Canada Board to complete the remaining term from Tom Monaghan. He is hopeful to continue on in the position as the BC Representative on the PGA of Canada Board. The direction of the association is gaining momentum and there is still much to be accomplished. I look forward to working with Kevin Thistle and rest of the Board to achieve those goals.
