About
Lisa Deleo is an Assistant Golf Professional at Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver, BC, and a proud member of the PGA of Canada since 2024. Joining the industry later in life has given her a grounded, relatable perspective—one that shapes the way she approaches coaching, community, and the growth of the game.
In her first full year as a professional, Lisa was honoured as the 2025 PGA of BC Apprentice Professional of the Year, recognition of her leadership, energy, and fast-growing impact at her club and within the South Okanagan golf community. A believer in lifelong learning, she actively pursues continuing education and mentorship, drawing on a wide range of experiences—including her background as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher—to bring awareness, balance, and body-movement principles into her coaching.
Lisa’s instruction focuses on simple fundamentals, cause-and-effect understanding, and building confidence through clarity. She is especially passionate about creating welcoming pathways for women and juniors, helping grow these programs into some of Fairview Mountain’s most successful and inclusive offerings.
Beyond her coaching work, Lisa is recognized as a well-rounded professional who contributes across multiple areas of club operations. She supports club fitting, golf shop operations and merchandising, and plays an active role in community and player-development initiatives including Women’s Golf Day and the Teach-a-Thon for Mental Health. Her ability to blend instruction, retail experience, event support, and community engagement reflects the versatility and professionalism she brings to her role every day.
Across everything she does, Lisa’s goal is consistent: to help people feel welcome, capable, and excited to grow within the game.
