Bradley Mellon
About
I began my career in golf after graduating from the Professional Golf Management program at Niagara College, where I developed a strong foundation in both the business and competitive sides of the game. My early seasons were spent at Bigwin Island Golf Club in 2014 and 2015, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in high-end member services and operations. From there, I joined the Canadian Junior Golf Association as the Manager of Tour Operations, overseeing tournament logistics and player experiences across Canada from 2016 to 2020.
In 2021, I became a PGA of Canada Professional and spent a season at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley before joining Whistle Bear Golf Club, where I have worked as the Associate Professional for the past four seasons. My time at Whistle Bear has allowed me to combine my background in tournament operations with a passion for coaching and player development, while also contributing to a strong, team-focused golf environment.
Outside of daily club operations, I am proud to have helped launch and continue to organize the Golf Ops Fall Staff Exchange, which connects professionals from across the province to share ideas and best practices.
I was also honoured to be named the 2025 PGA of Ontario Class “A” Assistant of the Year, recognition that reflects my commitment to professional growth, mentorship, and providing the best possible experience for members and guests.
