2025 PGA Of Ontario Junior Leader Of the Year
Dylan joined the PGA of Canada in the spring of 2014 while still completing the Golf Management Program at St Clair in Windsor, Ontario where he also competed on the College golf team. He has been a member and competitor on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour and has qualified for 2 MJT National Championships. Dylan has grown up in the golf industry working alongside his father, PGA of Canada Professional, Dave Smallwood at the Galt CC. His knowledge, passion for the game and great people skills allows him to connect with his students and help them with their development. In 2013 and 2014 Dylan scheduled, supervised, he was lead instructor and junior camp coordinator for over 50 junior golf summer camps at numerous Golf North Courses. In 2014-2016, he became the Ontario’s Co-Director for the Maple Leaf Junior Tour. The #1 Played Junior tour in Canada, where he organized and ran over 35 events in two seasons. In 2016 Dylan joined the Westmount Golf and Country Club team in a role to develop instruction for Ladies and Junior development where he led many successful clinics, camps, and an all-new Junior development Team. In 2022, He became the Head Teaching professional at Westmount Golf and Country Club.
