Brad Lovatt
About
Like a lot of PGA of Canada Professionals, I was born with a passion for golf. From a very young age I would accompany my Dad to the nine hole course in Souris, MB. After my family relocated to Saskatchewan in 1998 I called the sand greens of Punnichy Golf Course home. Growing up, I would spend all my summer afternoons going around and around those nine holes.
After giving the game a rest while I pursued an engineering degree, I started working in the golf industry in 2012 at the age of 22. Two years later I joined the PGA of Canada and in 2019 I became the Head Professional at Long Creek Golf and Country Club. My strongest passion has always been in growing junior golf which I have done successfully year over year at Long Creek with the introduction of new programs, attaining sponsorship commitments, as well as the overwhelming support from ownership and the membership to the growth of the program. It is my commitment to give every junior an opportunity in golf so that it can become a passion they enjoy for a lifetime.
As of November of 2022, I have joined on at The Wascana Country Club as an Associate Professional. I will bring that same level of passion to the junior club here at The Wascana and continue to grow the game for all golfers.
