Lucas Nonni

Originally from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Lucas Nonni brings over a decade of professional experience to his role as Head Teaching Professional at Bear Mountain Golf Academy on Vancouver Island. He relocated to the Island in 2021 and joined the Bear Mountain Golf & Tennis Resort Community later that year, where he leads player development initiatives for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
A Class “A” member of the PGA of Canada, Nonni has been a professional for more than 10 years and has spent over 12 years in the golf industry. He is also a member of PGA Tour Canada, reflecting his commitment to high-level performance and competitive excellence.
Nonni’s work as an educator and mentor has been recognized by the PGA of British Columbia, earning him the Junior Leader of the Year award for Vancouver Island in 2023 and the Teacher of the Year award for Vancouver Island in 2024. His coaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, long-term development, and helping golfers reach their full potential both on and off the course.
