About

Bitten at a later age than most, at the age of 15 I took up the game and never looked back. I enjoyed the game for many years thereafter as an amateur until turning pro officially in 2007. My first job as an assistant teaching pro was for one incredible year in Aruba only to return to Canada, get married, start a family and keep teaching.

I was formally trained under the instruction of Ted Frick CPGA (Carolina Professional Golf Association) in South Carolina over a 3 year period, and have since adapted many of my own natural teaching techniques. I have been undergoing personal training in club fitting and building under the personal certification of Don Irving from Artisan Golf. This also includes the use of the most sought after technology used on the PGA Tour today, the TrackMan.

I have always believed that everyone's swing is unique and should not be changed. They should only be guided and led to understand what needs to happen at impact in order to create what they are looking for. After that, the fine tuning is fun and should remain that way. The game of golf is a game that we all want to be better at. Like you, I too am always learning. I learn from teaching you. The more I help others, the better I get and the more I grow as a teacher and golfer.
