I started my career in the golf business at the Murray Municipal Golf Course in 2002 at the age of 14 under the direction of Head Professional Brad Herridge. I worked my way from back shop attendant to pro shop attendant when I decided to join the PGA of Canada in 2011.
As an Assistant Professional at the Murray Municipal Golf Course I won the 2013 PGA of Saskatchewan Assistant of the year.
In 2015, I made the move to Long Creek Golf Course in Avonlea , Saskatachewan as the Director of Golf Operations. My main goal as the Director of Golf Operations was to increase local participation mainly through juniors. Over the four years we were able to increase junior members from two to twenty-six.
In 2019, accepted the role of Associate Professional at the Tor Hill Golf Course. In this time I started a non-profit business Regina Junior Golf Inc (RJG). The goal of RJG is to grow the game of golf at a grass roots level. This includes partnerships with the Regina School Boards as well as the City of Regina.
In 2019 was the recipient of the PGA of Saskatchewan Junior Promoter of the Year as well as the Bill Taylor Trophy given to the member that best presents the qualities of a true Professional - integrity, sincerity and sportsmanship.
