About
Jimmy Kerby is the Head Golf Professional at Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, British Columbia, where he leads golf operations, instruction, programming, and the overall member and guest experience.
A graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Camosun College in Victoria, Jimmy has built his career at some of the top private clubs and resort facilities in Western Canada and abroad. His experience includes roles at premier private clubs such as Windermere Golf & Country Club and Country Hills Golf Club, as well as internationally at Querencia Private Golf & Beach Club in Mexico — consistently ranked among the world’s top courses — and Cabo San Lucas Country Club. He has also worked at some of Western Canada’s most recognized resort destinations, including Nicklaus North in Whistler and Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
Most notably, Jimmy spent several years at Mickelson National Golf Club, where he played a key role in the club’s launch and growth, the execution of major corporate and championship events, and the development of a strong service and instructional culture. In recognition of his impact and leadership, Jimmy was nominated for PGA of Alberta Class “A” Professional of the Year in 2022 during his time at Mickelson National.
Jimmy is widely respected as a passionate teacher, mentor, and leader. He has mentored multiple assistant professionals, supported junior golfers who have gone on to professional careers, and is known for creating environments where players build confidence, enjoy measurable improvement, and deepen their enjoyment of the game.
At Eagle Ranch, Jimmy is focused on elevating the resort’s golf experience through exceptional team culture, thoughtful programming, and the application of his teaching and operational experience to enhance every aspect of the member and guest journey.
