Tiee Wong
About
Tiee was a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Life Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University in 1998. Along with his experience as an elite level volleyball player, golf was once the other physical passion that he spent much of his time on.
Upon graduation in 1998 Tiee began his golfing career shortly after. His training was mostly done in Charlotte, North Carolina, under the experienced eye of Scott Davenport of the Quail Hollow Club. Tiee spend about 3 years working hard to better his game fine tuning it to the proper swing mechanics you see in many young elite players.
Turning Pro in 2001, Tiee began as a Golf Professional at Royal Woodbine Golf Club. Shortly after, realizing his true passion was teaching and understanding the pure mechanics of the golf swing, he became a Teaching Professional at Deer Creek Golf Club. Two years after that he went on to create and develop an academy at Maples of Ballantrae Golf Club where he became the Head Teaching Professional for the next 8 years.
With his science background and along with being a high school teacher as well, Tiee has his own academy called ONE ACADEMY where he continues to train elite junior golfers with plans to expand in the future.
