To direct the golf activities at a PGA of Canada Approved Teaching Centre. Golf activities include golf instruction, the sale of golf equipment and merchandise, club fitting and the servicing of members and clients.
Nominees should have made some significant contribution in the association or in the game golf in order to be considered.
Achieving Master Professional status is the highest designation a PGA of Canada professional can ascend to. This designation represents a demonstration of in-depth knowledge of an area of expertise in the golf industry.
Class "A" Professional means a Class “A” member who could be working in the golf industry in a number of different areas.
To direct the golf activities at a PGA of Canada Approved Driving Range, PGA of Canada Approved Teaching Centre or instructing golf at a PGA of Canada Approved Golf Course for the generally accepted golfing season for that geographic location.
Tournament Professional means any professional holding a current card from a Tour recognized by the Board from time to time;
An Associate Professional is a person who is not yet qualified as a Class “A” Member.
An Applicant means an individual who is registered with the PGA of Canada but has not yet passed the entry requirements set out in the PGA of Canada Training Academy.
A Non-Resident Class "A" Member or a Non-Resident Associate Professional is working in the golf industry outside of Canada.
