SpiderTech Kinesiology Tape Becomes Newest National Partner of the PGA of Canada

The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce SpiderTech as the association’s newest national partner.

As part of the partnership agreement, PGA of Canada members will be able to experience SpiderTech products at national championships and learn about them at Tee Talks Live this November in Halifax. Through this partnership, PGA members will have access to special retail pricing and education options to support their members and students at facilities across the country.

“The PGA of Canada is very excited to partner with a Canadian brand like SpiderTech Kinesiology Tape and help introduce kinesiology tape to our Canadian golfers,” said the PGA of Canada’s CEO Kevin Thistle. “On behalf of all our members from across the country, we couldn’t be more pleased to have SpiderTech onsite at our national championships and at our world-class education conference, Tee Talks Live.”

SpiderTech partnered with Dr. Nick Martichenko and PGA of Canada member Reggie Millage to bring Kinesiology tape to golf by developing 10 game-improving golf applications helping with pain, muscle tension and affect the movement patterns that attribute to swing faults.

“SpiderTech Golf kinesiology tape is engineered to relieve pain and decrease muscle tension which is why I find it to be such a valuable and versatile tool,” said Dr. Martichenko. “I often recommend using it post round to improve recovery time or in a preventive manner to avoid over-stressing a vulnerable area of the body and it’s for these reasons many of the golfers I work with getting to the point where they won’t play without it.”

The first PGA of Canada national championship where SpiderTech will be present takes place June 24-28 at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ont.
