PGA of Canada and Focus Golf Target Announce Multi-Year Partnership

(ACTON, ON) – It was announced today that the PGA of Canada has entered into a national partnership with Focus Golf Target, a company focused on making golf practice effective and fun with their unique targets for practice facilities everywhere. For the next two years, Focus Golf Target will be a supporting sponsor of the association’s national championships.

Beginning August 3-7 at the PGA Championship of Canada and the Seniors’ Championship of Canada in Bromont, Quebec and continuing at each national championship, Focus Golf Target will set up their eye-popping industry-leading golf targets on the driving range and on the first hole during the practice round. As part of the activation, all competitors will have an opportunity to hit a wedge into the target for a chance to win cash prizes as the PGA of Canada social media team captures the action.

“We are very excited to partner with Focus Golf Target and look forward to seeing them at all five of our National Championships,” said PGA of Canada President Teejay Alderdice. “This partnership will be a lot of fun for everyone as PGA of Canada Professionals at events will have the opportunity to see these very unique driving-range targets firsthand and will have the chance to bring the product to their club’s practice facilities.”

In addition to activating at all five of the association’s national championships, PGA of Canada members will have access to special pricing for Focus Golf Target products, which can be branded with their club logo.

“We are so excited to partner with such a respected association and give PGA of Canada members special access to our products,” said PGA of Canada Member Andy Holborn of Focus Golf Target -.  “It is our goal to help golfers build confidence and improve their performance with the help of our practice targets. It’s always fun to see the reaction from people when they dunk a shot on one of our targets and I think we’ll see plenty of that from PGA of Canada Professionals during the activations and when they are warming up before the national championships.”
