The PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf and the PGA Head Teaching Professional Championship supported by UpSwing Golf are set to return to stunning Iberostar Playa Paraíso near Cancún, Mexico this week, where top PGA of Canada professionals will once again compete, connect, and close out the season at a world-class venue.
The Head Teaching Professional Championship of Canada presented by UpSwing Golf is a brand-new event added to the national championship schedule. The event is running concurrently with the Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf, and features its own trophy and purse.
The low player between both events will also earn a bonus $5000.
The event would not have been possible without our friends at Golf Away Tours, whose partnership continues to help deliver an unforgettable all-inclusive championship experience for participants.
Without further ado, here are a few of the event details and things to watch for this week in paradise:
- The par72 Iberostar Playa Paraíso Golf Club has hosted numerous notable events, including the World Amateur Team Championship, Big Break Mexico, the Iberostar Riviera Maya Open, and the Bupa Match Play on PGA TOUR Americas.
