Mint Green Group Joins Canadian PGA Retirement Advantage Program

ACTON, ON (August 18, 2008) – The Canadian PGA announced today that premium golf industry brand supplier, Mint Green Group, has joined the Canadian PGA’s Retirement Advantage Program.

“We are very excited to welcome the Mint Green Group into our Retirement Advantage Program,” states Steve Carroll, Executive Director for the Canadian PGA. “The Mint Green Group supports and advocates Canadian PGA Professionals and the nine Canadian PGA Zones across the country. This new partnership with our Retirement Advantage Program will only enhance our relationship.”

Modeled after the successful PGA of America plan, the Canadian PGA Retirement Advantage Program is an arrangement by which the Mint Green Group and other supplier’s sales’ incentives can be contributed directly to a group RRSP account on a tax free basis for Canadian PGA Professionals.

The Retirement Advantage program is organized and administered by the Canadian PGA on behalf of its membership. Members can contribute annually with no administration or service fees. The investments are managed by Manulife one of the largest and most successful RRSP providers in the country. Canadian PGA Members can also choose from a variety of investment funds and access their accounts on-line.

“We are very excited to become an integral partner in the Canadian PGA Retirement Advantage Program,” said Ted Fletcher, President of Mint Green Group Inc. “This is a great way to support the Canadian PGA and their 3,500 Members across the country through all stages of their career and it’s also an excellent way to showcase our variety of premier products through various means.”
