Canadian PGA Renews SkyCaddie as the Official Rangefinder of the Association

ACTON, ON (January 18, 2011) – The Canadian PGA announced today that they have renewed their agreement for another three years with SkyCaddie as the Official Rangefinder of the Association.

“The Canadian PGA is excited to continue the partnership with SkyCaddie”, stated Gary Bernard, Executive Director of the Canadian PGA. “We can’t say enough about the partnership with this great brand and look forward to working alongside their team again at all of our National Championships.”

As the Official Rangefinder over the last three years, SkyCaddie has been onsite at every Canadian PGA National Championship distributing product and providing support and service to all Canadian PGA Professional competitors. In total, over 1,000 Canadian PGA Professional competitors in 12 National Championships have used the latest SkyCaddie devices while competing for the National titles.

The unmatched reliability of a SkyCaddie is created by walking the course just like a Tour Caddie does for a professional golfer, recording critical target information using the only method trusted in professional golf. To date, SkyGolf is the only company that has recorded approximately 100 million data points on up to 30,000 golf courses worldwide using their Tour Caddie ground-mapping methodology, while updating thousands of courses annually.

“SkyCaddie is thrilled to continue our partnership with the Canadian PGA and their 3,700 Golf Professionals across the country,” stated Steve Davies, President of Jancor Agencies – the Canadian Distributor for SkyCaddie. “Without question, the Canadian PGA is a very important business partner and fits very well with our sales strategy of growing the green grass sales channel. We look forward to a continued association with the Canadian PGA.”

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with SkyCaddie as our Official Rangefinder. As a brand, SkyCaddie is one of the biggest supporters of PGA Professionals around the globe and their commitment to many of the World PGA partners is evidence of that,” said Jeff Dykeman, Director of Business Development and Brand for the Canadian PGA.

SkyCaddie representatives will be on-site at the PGA Merchandising Show in Orlando, Florida, January 27 to 29, 2011.
