Canadian PGA and Callaway Golf Canada Announce Free Lesson Program

UPGRADE YOUR SWING WHEN YOU UPGRADE YOUR CLUBS
Callaway Golf Canada and Canadian PGA offer free golf lesson with club purchase

CONCORD, ON (December 6, 2007) – Callaway Golf Canada and the Canadian Professional Golfers' Association (CPGA) announced today a unique partnership that offers golfers a free 30-minute lesson with the purchase of any driver or set of irons from Callaway Golf’s 2008 product line.

The 2008 CPGA Lesson Program provides consumers with a certificate redeemable for a 30-minute lesson from a registered and accredited CPGA professional.

“We have an unwavering commitment to innovation – whether it’s product development or consumer benefits – and this is another example of what we consider a tangible, meaningful partnership,” said Callaway Golf Canada Managing Director Scott Reid. “We are constantly seeking new products, promotions, and services with the goal of making every golfer a better golfer.”

To receive a lesson certificate, golfers must purchase their Callaway product between April 1st and July 31st, 2008. Certificates will be redeemable until the end of the 2008 calendar year.

“Everyone needs some help with their swing from time to time and this is a great way for players of all abilities to help gain that extra edge,” added Chris Walling, Callaway Golf’s Director of Marketing. “We understand the investment golfers make to improve their game, so we also strive to help them become better – and not just through the technological benefits of our clubs, but also after their purchase, through instructional programs like the CPGA Lesson Program.”

The 2008 CPGA lesson program will be available at all authorized Canadian Callaway Golf retailers.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this program with Callaway Golf Canada. We know that the expertise that a Canadian PGA professional can provide on the development of ones game is critically helpful to their success,” states Jeff Dykeman, Manager of Business Development. “By partnering with Callaway Golf in this program it will provide golfers with both valuable technology in their equipment, and the best instruction in golf from a Canadian PGA professional.”

Golfers have the option of redeeming their lesson at the facility where they purchased their clubs or with another participating CPGA instructor.
