2014 Scholarship Recipients

The PGA of Canada is proud to announce the five recipients of its 2014 scholarships.

Earning scholarships are Benjamin Goheen, Samantha Lacy, Maxwell Winkler, Erika Stonehouse and Heather Wogden.

“On behalf of all 3,700 PGA of Canada members, I congratulate these five scholarship winners for their hard work and dedication,” says PGA of Canada President, Constant Priondolo. “All of the recipients are either children, grandchildren or current members of the PGA of Canada, and that makes me very proud to be part of the Association.”

Since 1994, the PGA of Canada has awarded scholarships to Members, Apprentices and Candidates for Membership, as well as the children and grandchildren of members in an effort to encourage, support and promote higher education.

Scholarships are awarded to recipients based on academic achievement and contributions to their community. A total of five individuals will benefit from the scholarship fund this year, giving each of them $2,000 toward their education.

Applications are judged by a three-member independent panel and awarded based on academic achievement and contributions to the community.
