Spring 2026 - Update: Provincial Minium Wage Increases (see: Stat.Canada Updates)
Effect on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in five Canadian provinces and territories.
Note that only the general rates are indicated below. Therefore, please refer to the government website of the relevant province or territory to check for any other wage changes applicable to your business.
The minimum wage increases are as follows:
- Prince Edward Island: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour
- New Brunswick: $15.65 to $15.90 per hour
- Nova Scotia: $16.50 to $16.75 per hour
- Newfoundland and Labrador: $16.00 to $16.35 per hour
- Yukon: $17.94 to $18.51 per hour
Fall 2025 - Update: Provincial Minimum Wage Increases
Ontario- October 1st, 2024- Minimum wage increase to $17.20 per hour
