PGA of Ottawa Playing Ability Test

Monday, June 22, 2026 (18 holes)

This PGA of Ottawa Playing Ability Test has a maximum of six (6) available spots and will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Register and Pay by June 15, 2026

Course rating, yardages are subject to change by the host course and could affect target scores. Presently we have:

Male Applicants

Male < 49 years old – course rating plus     9    
Male > 50 years old – course rating plus    11

Male <49 – Rating 70.4, 6100 Yards - Target Score = 79
Male >50 – Rating 70.4, 6100 Yards - Target Score = 81

Female Applicants

Female < 49 years old – course rating plus 13
Female > 50 years old – course rating plus 15

Female <49 – Rating 68.9, 4853 Yards - Target Score = 80
Female >50 – Rating 68.9, 4853 Yards - Target Score = 82

Applicants who are successful will be sent by email the Apprentice Professional application package.  Completed packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after completing the PAT.

The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to change/adjust the number of spots available based on time of year weather and interest.  The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to adjust the format based on time of year and weather.
