This PGA of Ottawa Playing Ability Test has a maximum of thirty (30) available spots and will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Register and Pay by September 30,  2025

Male Applicants

Male < 49 years old – course rating plus     9    
Male > 50 years old – course rating plus    11

Male <49 – Rating 69.3, 6161 Yards - Target Score = 79
Male >50 – Rating 69.3, 6161 Yards - Target Score = 81


Female Applicants

Female < 49 years old – course rating plus 13
Female > 50 years old – course rating plus 15

Female <49 – Rating 67.9, 4948 Yards - Target Score = 81
Female >50 – Rating 67.9, 4948 Yards - Target Score = 83

Applicants who are successful will be sent by email the Apprentice Professional application package.  Completed packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after completing the PAT.

The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to change/adjust the number of spots available based on time of year weather and interest.  The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to adjust the format based on time of year and weather.
