Level 2 (provincial certification) seminars will be conducted by provincial golf associations (PA), and the curriculum will begin to look at the more important playing Rules in detail.
Some of the complexities that are found in the Rules of Golf book or the Official Guide on the Rules of Golf are introduced along while also implementing on-course demonstrations. Level 2 (Provincial) will be designed for individuals with involvement in tournament administration, or a desire to have such involvement.
*The 2019 Level 2 certification is equivalent to the 2018 Level 3 certification, therefore, we will be accepting both the Level 3 certificates (from 2018 - earlier) and Level 2 certificates (from 2019 onward).
- Attend and achieve a minimum of 80% on the Level 2 exam, administered by the PA.
- Complete 50 hours of on-course experience as a Referee.
- Complete an additional 10 hours accompanying a Level 3 certified Referee at a championship

Once your training has completed, you will need to upload your certificate to the course homepage. You will receive a confirmation email which will bring you our course homepage where you have access to additional details including how to complete the course and next steps on earning credit for the PGA Training Academy.
