Provincial and territorial health plans cover many hospital services, but some accommodation and recovery-related costs may still be left to you.

The optional Entente Plus Hospital and Convalescent Care plan reimburses 95% of eligible semi-private hospital room charges in licensed Canadian hospitals, with no annual maximum for eligible semi-private accommodation.

The plan can also help with eligible convalescent facility or home-care costs following hospitalization or certain day surgeries.
