 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARD GUIDELINES

  • Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership
  • Maintain a substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf
  • Well-regarded as a role model in professional development and continuous education for fellow

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARD CRITERIA

  • Contributions to National PGA of Canada education programs
  • Contributions to Zone education programs and seminars
  • Contributions and development of programs related to and benefiting education
  • Contributions to building the image of both the PGA of Canada Golf Professional and the Association

Selection Process

  • The nomination should be based on a candidate's entire past experience and commitment to continuing one's contributions and assistance
  • Achievements during the past year should be emphasized
  • National Awards Committee will select a recipient based on the criteria

Eligible Categories

  • Must have won this award in your Zone for the current year to be eligible to win this National award
  • All Class “A” Members and Apprentice Professionals in good standing excluding the following: Class “A” Life Professional and Class “A” Retired Professional.
