Alexandra Costello

Alexandra is an experienced Board Director and senior energy executive with over two decades of leadership in strategy, finance, governance, and organizational transformation. She has served as Board Chair for two subsidiaries of TC Energy, where she strengthened governance practices, oversaw an ERP upgrade, enhanced board and financial reporting, and realigned executive compensation to performance-driven KPIs. Her oversight spans strategy, risk, capital allocation, compensation, and sustainability.  Alexandra holds a BComm with Distinction from UVic and a MSc in Management (Finance) from ULeth.

In addition to board governance, Alexandra has expertise in risk management, stakeholder engagement, ESG, and DEI initiatives, exemplified by volunteer activities such as serving on the Executive Committee of Canada Powered by Women, non-partisan non-profit that aims to create safe opportunities for engaged women to participate in the national energy transformation conversation. Additionally, Alexandra served on TC Energy’s Inclusion and Diversity Executive Council and was a co-founder of the Women’s Leadership Network, both focused on reducing barriers to inclusion and accessibility and mentoring women across the organization.  She is deeply committed to advancing inclusive, transparent, and purpose-driven leadership - principles that strengthen both organizations and communities.

Golf has long been a personal source of challenge and connection, reflecting values of respect, focus, and integrity that Alexandra aims to uphold in every professional setting. Alexandra has lived in both B.C. and Alberta and worked nationwide with TC Energy, giving her valuable depth and understanding of the diversity of stakeholders across this great country.  She has always appreciated the social aspect of the game, sharing the love of the sport with friends and family alike.  Alexandra is inspired by the PGA of Canada’s mission to empower golf professionals and grow the game nationwide, and would be honoured to contribute her governance, finance, and strategic expertise to support its continued success.
