Chad Feener

PGA of Canada Class “A” Professional – 10 Year Member

Who I Am
I am a PGA of Canada Professional who believes deeply in community, growth, and belonging within our Association.

My journey in the golf industry has not followed a traditional path. I have experienced leadership roles, career transitions, setbacks, reinvention, and personal growth. Those experiences have shaped my belief that every Professional — regardless of title, facility, or career stage — deserves to feel valued and supported within our Association.

I am proud to be a 10-year Class “A” Member and proud of the work I have done to grow the game and build community within the Atlantic region.

What I Believe

I believe:

  • The PGA of Canada should feel accessible to every member.
  • No Professional should feel isolated within our Association.
  • Leadership should listen first.
  • Growth happens when different perspectives are welcomed.
  • Our strength lies in supporting one another — not just in title, but in practice.

I believe our Association succeeds when members feel connected, heard, and represented.

My Passion

My passion has always been building community.

Whether leading leagues, mentoring junior golfers, supporting peers, or stepping into new ventures, my focus has been creating environments where people feel welcome and empowered.

I have seen firsthand how powerful community can be — and how isolating this profession can feel at times. I want to help bridge that gap.

Why I Am Running

I am seeking a position on the Board because I want to contribute to a team that operates with the best interests of all members in mind.

I want to ensure that:

  • Young professionals feel guided.
  • Mid-career professionals feel supported.
  • Non-traditional career paths are respected.
  • Every member in the Atlantic Zone feels they belong.

I am not running against anyone — I am running for something:
A stronger sense of connection and representation within our Association.

My Commitment

If elected, I commit to:

  • Listening before speaking.
  • Communicating openly with members.
  • Advocating for inclusivity and engagement.
  • Supporting initiatives that grow the game and strengthen our Zone.
  • Representing our members with integrity and professionalism.

Regardless of the outcome, I will continue to serve our Atlantic golf community with pride.
