To Whom It May Concern,

I am thrilled to express my interest in assuming the role of a director at the PGA of Canada. With an extensive background in both sport and organizational leadership, I am eager to contribute to the growth and advancement of the PGA of Canada.

My journey in the professional sports industry has provided me with a unique perspective on the needs and aspirations of both professionals and enthusiasts. As a seasoned legal executive, I have witnessed firsthand the evolving landscape of the business of sport, as well as the innovation in the industry. This experience has fostered an understanding of the challenges faced by sports professionals and the potential opportunities for innovation.

My qualifications align with the PGA of Canada Board's criteria, particularly in strategic planning, ESG and governance. Over the years, I have successfully developed and implemented comprehensive strategic, DEI and ESG initiatives that have significantly improved corporate performance and engagement. These skills are directly transferable to the Board's responsibilities of setting strategic directions and enhancing the sport and business of golf.

Moreover, my proficiency in fostering collaborations and cultivating relationships with diverse stakeholders will contribute to effective governance and decision-making within the Board. I am committed to promoting inclusivity and driving initiatives that elevate the entire golf community.

In summary, my aspiration to join the PGA of Canada Board of Directors is rooted in a deep-seated love for sport and a desire to leverage my experiences to influence positive change. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute my expertise in strategic planning, program development, and relationship-building to shape the future of Canadian golf.

Thank you for the opportunity to submit my interest, and I’d be happy to speak at your convenience.
